New Haven Barracks- 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault

 

DATE/TIME: 11/05/2026 at approximately 2333 hours

INCIDENT LOCATION: Addison, VT

 

ACCUSED: Tammy Flemings

AGE: 54

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Addison, VT

CHARGES: 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault

VICTIM: The Vermont State Police do not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On November 5th  2026, at approximately 2333 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police New Haven Barracks were notified of a disturbance at a residence in the Town of Addison.  Investigation revealed that Flemings caused serious bodily injury to a family or household member. On November 6th 2026 Flemings was taken into custody by Troopers and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing. Flemings was released as she posted the court ordered $1,500 bail and must abide by court ordered conditions. The Vermont State Police was assisted by the Middlebury Police Department and the Addison County Sheriff’s Department.
