SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On the above date and time, Troopers from the Westminster State
Police Barracks received a report of a single motor vehicle crash on I-91
Northbound near Mile Marker 49, in the town of Weathersfield (Windsor County),
VT. While in route, Troopers were notified the operator, and multiple occupants
of the vehicle, left the scene of the crash. One of the occupants from the
vehicle was on scene with injuries and was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock
Medical Center.
Troopers later located all occupants and identified the operator
as Jabari Carr, 20, of Sutton, VT. During the investigation, indicators
of impairment were observed. Carr was arrested and transported to the Vermont
State Police, Westminster Barracks for processing. Carr was released with a
criminal citation and is scheduled to appear at the Vermont Superior Court,
Windsor Criminal Division, on 11/03/2026 at 0815 hours to answer to the above
charges.
