SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On October 17, 2026, at approximately 2155 hours, the
Vermont State Police received a motor vehicle complaint on Tarbell Hill Road,
in the Town of Cavendish (Windsor County), Vermont. A Trooper from the
Westminster Barracks responded and while in the area observed a vehicle
operating in a negligent manner. When speaking with the operator, identified as
Bruce Wayne Wright III (21) of Cavendish, signs of impairment were detected. He
was subsequently arrested and taken to the Springfield Police Department, in
the Town of Springfield (Windsor County), Vermont, for processing. Wright was
later released with a citation to appear before the Vermont Superior Court -
Windsor Criminal Division on November 3, 2026, at 0815 hours, to answer to the
above charges.
