On the above date and time, a Trooper with Vermont State Police was traveling south on South Brownell Road in Williston when they encountered a northbound vehicle traveling in the southbound lane attempting to overtake another vehicle. A head-on collision was avoided, and a traffic stop was conducted without incident. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Christan Hilson (27). Hilson was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Chittenden Criminal Division on 11/10/2026 at 0830 hours.
