SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above date and time, Vermont
State Police were notified of a domestic assault that occurred at a residence
on Sandgate Road in the Town of Sandgate. An investigation was conducted which
resulted in the arrest of Matthew Ready for the above charges.
Ready was transported to the Shaftsbury State Police for
processing and issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington
Criminal Division on 10/30/2026 at 1230 hours. Ready was later remanded to the
Marble Valley Correctional Center on a hold without bail.
