SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On October 19, 2026, Troopers with the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks were notified that Norman Bevins, 52, of Bethel, Vermont had an extraditable warrant out of New Hampshire for felony possession of methamphetamine. Troopers were aware that Bevins was currently being held at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility in Rutland, Vermont on Vermont warrants. Bevins was subsequently charged with the additional crime of Fugitive from Justice.
