SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On October 2nd, 2026, at approximately 2344 hours, the Vermont State Police Dispatch was notified of a crash on Monkton Rd in New Haven. Upon arrival, Troopers observed signs of impairment from the operator, Stephen O. Lizewski (59).

                                                                                                                                                                            

Lizewski was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Middlebury Police Department for processing. At the conclusion of processing, Lizewski was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on November 16th, 2026, at 1230 hours for the offenses of DUI #1 and Negligent Operation.
