NEWS RELEASE – DLS INCIDENTS 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

For the week of Wednesday, May 13, 2026, through Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the troopers of B Troop cited the following individuals on suspicion of driving with a criminally suspended license: 

Jonathan Peraza, 38, of Springfield, VT was stopped by Trooper Evan Wilkinson on Interstate 91 at mile marker 56 in Windsor on May 13, 2026, at 7:44 AM. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windsor County on July 7, 2026.

Kevin O’Day, 54, of Brattleboro, VT was stopped by Trooper Michael Maldonado on May 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM, on Putney Road in Brattleboro. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on June 16, 2026.

Lynn Akley, 56, of Vernon, VT was stopped by Trooper Michael Maldonado on May 19, 2026, at 3:40 PM on Interstate 91 at mile marker 10 in Brattleboro. She is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Windham County on June 16, 2026.

Cody Goodrich, 33, of Rutland, VT was stopped by Trooper Haley Mears on May 13, 2026, at 9:30 AM on US Route 4 and Medway Road in Mendon. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Rutland County on June 22, 2026.

Andrew Kerr, 27, of Ripton, VT was stopped by Trooper Iain Carr on May 13, 2026, at 6:50 PM on West Salisbury Road in Salisbury. He is cited to appear at the Superior Court of Addison County on June 29, 2026.

B Troop consists of the Vermont State Police barracks in New Haven, Royalton, Rutland, Shaftsbury, and Westminster.
