SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On December 24, 2024, at approximately 1213 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks were notified of a two-vehicle crash on N Grove Street, near Pinnacle Ridge Road, Rutland Town, Vermont.

Through investigation it was determined that Operator #1 (Porter) was operating vehicle #1, traveling north on N Grove Street. Operator #2 (Johnson) was operating vehicle #2, traveling north on N Grove Street. Operator #1 (Porter) attempted to pass vehicle #2 but struck the snowplow on the front of vehicle #2 while passing. Vehicle #1 came to an uncontrolled position of rest in a nearby parking lot.
