SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On December 8th, 2025, at approximately 1641 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – St. Albans Barracks were dispatched to the report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of VT Route 105 and Poor Farm Road in the Town of Sheldon. Troopers responded to the scene and located a 2016 Toyota Sienna that had sustained damage to its driver’s side and a 2020 Ford Transit Connect that had sustained damage to its front-end and driver’s side.

 

Preliminary investigation established that the operator of the 2016 Toyota Sienna was Katie Boulanger (35) of Sheldon, VT, and the operator of the 2020 Ford Transit Connect was a juvenile (17) of Franklin, VT. Operator #1 was not wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash and Operator #2 was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the cash. Operator #1 was transported to Northwest Medical Center by AmCare Ambulance for suspected minor injuries and Operator #2 was transported by a family member to Northwest Medical Center for suspected minor injuries.

 

The Vermont State Police was assisted at the scene of the crash by TDI Towing, AmCare Ambulance and Sheldon Fire Department.

The vehicle was stopped without incident, and the operator was identified as Kiana Donegan of Shelburne. While speaking with Troopers, Donegan displayed signs of impairment. Donegan was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing. Donegan was issued a citation to answer to the above charges.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 12/08/2025 at approximately 1211 hours, a three-car crash occurred on the Cabot Road in the Town of Marshfield. Operator #2 was driving Vehicle #2 with a snowplow on the front of the vehicle and turning around at the Marshfield/Cabot town line. Operator #2 had a snowplow into the roadway and was waiting for an oncoming vehicle to pass before turning into the road. The snowplow was stopped when Operator #1 in Vehicle #1 traveling towards Marshfield from Cabot collided with the end of the plow and then collided with Operator #3 in Vehicle #3. All operators were screened by EMS and only Operators #1 and #2 were transported to CVMC for further treatment. The roadway was cleared of any hazards and Vehicles #1 and #3 were towed by Action Towing and Caledonia Wrecker Service respectively.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On 12/08/25 at approximately 0854 hours, Troopers were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle crash on VT Route 22a. The investigation revealed that the operator, Mercedes Oxford kemp was traveling north on VT Route 22a when she hit a patch of snow and lost control of her vehicle. This resulted in her vehicle leaving the roadway to the right. Mercedes was transported to Porter Medical Center for reported minor injuries.
 
Troopers were assisted on scene by Vergennes Fire Department, Bristol EMS and CDR Towing.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On December 8, 2025, at approximately 10:02 a.m., the Vermont State Police received multiple 911 calls reporting a rollover crash on Interstate 91 southbound near mile marker 133.6.

 

While responding, troopers were advised that the vehicle’s occupants were trapped. Troopers arrived on scene first and began efforts to extricate the operator, Malcolm Doak, and the passenger, Carole Doak, from a 2021 Subaru Forester.

 

Personnel from CALEX Ambulance and the St. Johnsbury Fire Department arrived shortly thereafter and successfully freed both occupants.

 

Malcolm and Carole Doak were transported by CALEX Ambulance to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) as a precaution.

 

Preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle’s lack of winter tires contributed to the crash.

The suspects forced entry by breaking the glass on the front door, causing $463 worth of damage. They then stole $6,025 worth of cigarettes and knives before exiting the store at 0315 hours.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:
 
On 12/4/25 at approximately 1450 hours, Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Middlebrook Road and Shellhouse Mountain Road in the Town of Ferrisburgh. Investigation revealed V#1 was traveling south on Shellhouse Mountain Road while V#2 was traveling east on Middlebrook Road, each at a reasonable speed. At that time, V#1 failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection without yielding to V#2. As a result, the front end of V#1 struck the front driver's side of V#2, and both vehicles came to respective upright positions of uncontrolled rest. No injuries resulted.
 
Troopers were assisted on scene by the Ferrisburgh Fire Department.
