SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 07/02/2020 at approximately 6:18 pm, the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a 911 hang-up from 1118 Peaked Mountain Road in the Town of Townshend (Windham County), Vermont. After arriving on scene, Troopers discovered what appeared to be a large amount of illegal drug activity occurring outside and within the residence.  

At the completion of a search of the residence and several cars on scene, Troopers located the following items:

207 bags of fentanyl,

Approximately 208.4 grams (7.3 oz) of marijuana,

(60) 1 gram THC pens,

7 jars of 400 mg edible gummies per jar,

11 marijuana blunts,

Hundreds of empty glassine bags,

Desiree S. Wood, along with Allyson Bagley and Michael Buckland were found to have traveled to Massachusetts to purchase a bulk quantity of Fentanyl (500 bags) that was transported back to Vermont on 7/1/20.  Wood then conducted two separate sales of Fentanyl (200 bags and 150 bags) while in Townshend, VT between 7/1/20 and 7/2/20.

Wood was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Fentanyl, Transportation into the State, Sale of Fentanyl x2 and Possession of Marijuana greater than 2 OZ.

Bagley was charged with trafficking Fentanyl and Possession of Fentanyl.

Buckland was charged with trafficking Fentanyl and Possession of Fentanyl.

Nathan Hall was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl and Possession of Fentanyl.

Wood, Hall, Buckland, and Bagley were released with a criminal citation and are scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on August 25, 2020 at 1:30 pm to answer to the above charges.
