SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 07/05/2020 at approximately 0600 hours, Vermont State Police received a report of a family fight occurring at 73 Mountain View Drive in Sheffield. After troopers arrived, they determined that Shylynn Stewart, 22, of Lyndonville, was under the influence of alcohol and had driven to the residence. Troopers also determined that Stewart was the operator involved in a prior call the State Police received, earlier that morning, regarding a vehicle that crashed into a mailbox at 905 Cotton Road in Lyndon. Stewart was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury for DUI processing and later released with a citation for Driving Under the Influence and Duty to Report (LSA).
