VIOLATION:

              1. DUI #2

              2. Careless and Negligent Operation

 

ACCUSED: Reed J. Perkins                                               

AGE: 42

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bucksport, ME

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 12th, 2020 at approximately 2200 hours a Trooper with VSP Williston conducted a motor vehicle stop on I-89 Northbound in the town of South Burlington after observing a vehicle travelling north at approximately 105mph in a 65mph zone.

 

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Reed Perkins (age 42) of Bucksport, ME. Investigation determined that Perkins had been operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested without incident and transported to the Williston State Police Barracks for processing.

 

At the conclusion of processing Perkins was transported to Act One for detox with a criminal citation to appear before Chittenden County Superior Court at a later date and time to answer to the aforementioned charges.
