              1. DUI #1 Refusal

              2. Grossly Negligent Operation

              4. Unlawful Mischief

 

ACCUSED: Donna Silver AKA Donna Starkes                                             

AGE: 50

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Essex, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 15th, 2020 at approximately 2354 hours a Trooper with VSP Williston conducted a motor vehicle stop on VT Route 15 in the town of Essex after observing a vehicle driving the wrong way on Route 15, into oncoming traffic.

 

The operator was ultimately identified as Donna Silver / Donna Starkes (age 50) of Essex, VT. Investigation determined that Silver had been operating the motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and was operating while criminally suspended due to a prior conviction for operating without a license.

 

Silver was arrested without incident and transported to the Williston State Police Barracks for processing, during which she damaged State Police property. At the conclusion of processing Silver was lodged at Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility for detox. She was issued a criminal citation to appear before Chittenden County Superior Court at a later date and time to answer to the aforementioned charges.
