VIOLATION: Aggravated Domestic Assault, Kidnapping, Reckless Endangerment, Interference with Access to

Emergency Services

 

ACCUSED: Daskalides, Kevin                                                

AGE: 31 years old

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Swanton, VT

 

VICTIM: The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of

domestic violence.

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 5.14.2020 at 1453 hours VSP St. Albans responded to Homestead Acres in

Swanton, VT for a possible domestic assault. A witness reported a male dragging

a female back into a residence.

 

Troopers responded to the scene getting the victim to safety and providing

medical support. The victim reported that she had been held against her will for

more than a month and repeatedly assaulted. The victim sustained various injuries

over this time and is being treated by medical personal.

 

The investigation revealed that Kevin Daskalides, 31 years old of Swanton, Vt,

committed several offenses. He is actively avoiding capture.

 

The Vermont State Police is seeking the whereabouts of Daskalides. Anyone with
