SUMMARY OF CRASH: On May 10, 2020, at approximately 2052 hours, the Vermont State Police were dispatched to a one-car motor vehicle crash on Monkton Road in the Town of Monkton. Troopers arrived on scene and identified the operator of the vehicle as Amanda Brace (32). Investigation revealed Brace swerved off the roadway to avoid a collision with a deer and an oncoming vehicle. Troopers learned Brace’s license was under Criminal Suspension in the State of Vermont. Minor injuries were reported in this incident. Brace was issued a criminal citation to appear before the Addison Superior Court, to answer to the charge of, Title 23 VSA 674; "Operating after suspension or revocation of license.”

 

The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by Bristol First Response and Bristol Rescue Squad.
