SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On 04-24-20 at 2007 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a single motor vehicle crash on VT Route 3 near South Street in Proctor, VT. During the encounter, Troopers found that Jennifer A. Barnard of Proctor, VT, had driven the vehicle and was showing signs of impairment. After roadside testing, Barnard was arrested and processed at the VT State Police Barracks in Rutland for DUI. A drug recognition expert assisted in this process. Barnard was released on a citation to appear for DUI–Drugs. Barnard will answer to the charge in VT Superior Court Rutland Criminal Division on 07-13-20 at 0830 am.  

 

Troopers were assisted on scene by the Pittsford Police Department, Rutland County Sheriffs Department, and Regional Ambulance Services.
