VIOLATION:

              1. False Information to Police

              2. Resisting Arrest

 

ACCUSED: Wayne Parker                                               

AGE: 62

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Jericho, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On March 23rd, 2020 at approximately 1849 hours Troopers with VSP Williston were notified of a 911 call originating from 62 Snowflake Drive in the town of Jericho. A male advised that there was an emergency at the address and then hung up on 911.

 

Troopers responded to the address and identified the male caller as Wayne Parker (age 62) of Jericho, VT. It was quickly determined that there was no emergency at the address and that Parker had provided false information to 911.

 

While arresting Parker for the offense, he briefly resisted arrest but was taken into custody without further incident. Parker was transported to Act One for detox and issued a citation to appear before court at a later date and time.
