SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 3/23/2020 at approximately 1700 hours, Troopers with The Vermont State Police

were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving two tractor trailer units

that collided head on at the Intersection of Route 100A and Route 4 in

Bridgewater, VT. Investigation of the crash showed that Davis's tractor trailer

unit traveled left of center and stuck Wheeler's Tractor Trailer Unit. After

being struck, Wheeler's unit struck the Bridgewater Corner Store causing damage

to the store front. Wheeler's unit then struck two parked vehicles which had no

occupants at the time. No injuries were sustained during this crash.

The Vermont State Police were assisted by the Bridgewater Fire Department, Sabil

and Sons Towing, Earles Truck Repair/Towing, and the Vermont Agency of

Transportation.

The roadway was temporary reduced to one lane as a result of this crash and was

re-opened to two lanes at 2000 hours.
