VIOLATION:

 

               1. Driving Under the Influence- Drugs #3

               2. Driving with a Criminally Suspended License

               3. Violations of Conditions of Release

               4. Possession of Cocaine

               5. Obstruction of Justice

 

ACCUSED: David Farnham                                             

AGE: 40

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Grand Isle, VT

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 1/29/2020 at approximately 2213 hours, the Vermont State

Police were notified of a potentially impaired driver leaving the area of

Wal-Mart in Williston. State Police were able to locate the vehicle and conduct

a traffic stop on Interstate 89N by Exit 12. The operator, David Farnham (31) of

Grand Isle, was found to have a criminally suspended license and conditions of

release not to drive a motor vehicle.

 

While speaking with Farnham, Troopers observed indicators of impairment. Further

investigation found Farnham to be under the influence of drugs. Farnham was

placed under arrest and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.

During the investigation, Farnham was found to be in possession of cocaine and

attempted to obstruct Trooper's ability to investigate.

 

Farnham was later released with a citation to appear before Chittenden Criminal

Court for the above charges.
