*UPDATE* Interstate 89 in Richmond

UPDATE: NORTHBOUND PASSING LANE HAS RE-OPENED TO TRAFFIC. EXPECT DELAYS. TRAFFIC IS MOVING SLOWLY.

News Release- Highway / Traffic Notification

 

The northbound lane of Interstate 89 is blocked due to a commercial vehicle crash.  The closure is at mile-marker 79 in Richmond, which is just north of Exit 11.  Troopers and the Richmond Police are attempting to divert traffic at Exit 11, and are trying to reopen at least one lane of the interstate as quickly and safely as possible.

 

There are no details on the crash at this point, and no estimate on when the roadway will reopen.  Updates will be provided when available. 

 

Motorists should expect delays in the area, or seek alternate routes. Please drive carefully.
