SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 02/14/20 at approximately 1524 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police - New Haven Barracks responded to a reported single vehicle crash on Snake Mtn

Rd in the Town of Cornwall, VT.

Upon arrival, Troopers observed a black, Jeep, Renegade - Nighthawk, with moderate front end damage, off the roadway and against a large tree.  The operator,

identified as Ariel Farley, was not on scene.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Farley was traveling south, left the roadway and struck the tree in a head-on manner.

Speed and failure to maintain a lane of travel are factors of this crash.

In addition, it was determined that Farley's privilege to operate a motor vehicle on a Vermont Public Highway was civilly suspended.

Troopers later located Farley and took her into custody based upon an outstanding arrest warrant.

Farley was issued Vermont Civil Violation Complaint #6022511 for violating T23 VSA 676, "Driving after Suspension or Revocation - civil violation."
