CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Braintree, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time Orange County Sheriffs Department stopped a vehicle for a motor a vehicle violation. He was suspected by the Deputy to be under the influence of alcohol. OCSD requested VSP assistance, as the Deputy was not DUI Certified. Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks responded to the scene. Once on scene Troopers suspected Riedell to be under the influence of alcohol. He was administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and subsequently arrested and taken to Orange County Sheriffs Department in Randolph for processing. Riedell was cited and released to appear in Vermont Superior Court Orange Criminal Division Unit at 0800 hours on 02/26/20 to answer to the charge.
