AGE: 47

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Jericho, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On December 26, 2019 at approximately 1:50 PM personnel from the Underhill-Jericho Fire Department received a request for a welfare check on a male residing on Palmer Lane in the Town of Jericho. The caller indicated that this male was in danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. Troopers were asked to assist Fire/Rescue.

Prior to arrival, Troopers determined the caller was 47 year-old Dawn Parker.

Troopers and Fire/Rescue personnel located the male in question; he was not in any danger and did not require any additional assistance. In further conversation with the male, Troopers learned that Parker had placed many frequent and repeated phone calls to him on this day. This same type of behavior had been occurring for several days to the point where he had to turn his phone off to keep it from constantly ringing and disturbing him.

Troopers also spoke to Parker. Investigation determined that Parker’s repeated calls to the male were intended to harass, annoy, and disturb his peace and quiet. As such, Parker was issued a criminal citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court to answer to the charge of Disturbing the Peace via Telephone.
