SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On December 12, 2019 at approximately 2:10 PM, Vermont State Police were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 near mile marker 44/9. Investigation revealed that the operator, Michael Luurtsema, was traveling southbound and went off the right(west) side of the road. The vehicle struck multiple trees and sustained totaling damage. Luurtsema was pronounced deceased on scene.
