Investigation revealed two of the vehicles sustained no damage, however, the third, a 2015 Volvo XC70 operated by John F. O'Connell Jr., sustained minor damage. O'Connell attempted to avoid colliding with the first vehicle (which was stuck and partially obstructing the roadway), however, lost control in the icy, left-oriented downhill curve and collided with a telephone pole support cable.
