SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On December 24th  2019 at 2000 hours, a member of the Vermont State Police stopped Patrick Marrin on South Main Street in the town of St. Albans due to a motor vehicle violation. Upon contacting Marrin, it was suspected he was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Subsequent investigation revealed that Marrin was in fact under the influence of alcohol at the time of operation and that there was a female juvenile present in the vehicle at that time. Marrin was placed under arrest and brought to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing. Marrin was charged with Driving Under the Influence Refusal and Cruelty to a Child. Ultimately, Marrin issued a citation to appear before the Franklin County District Court on January 13th 2020 at 1300 hours in order to face the aforementioned charges.
