SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 12/22/19 at approximately 0228 hours Vermont State Police
were dispatched to the area of Hayden Road and Sunderland Hill Road, following a
report of a telephone pole being across the roadway, blocking both lanes of
Sunderland Hill Road.

Vermont State Police arrived on scene along with Manchester Police, to begin
investigating the incident. It was determined the pole was broken at its base as
the result of a motor vehicle collision, thus knocking the pole down and into
the roadway. Vehicle parts at the scene indicated the vehicle was a full sized
truck, either GMC or Chevrolet.

Later in the day, 12/22/19, Troopers conducted follow up based upon several
leads and made contact with Tyler Troumbley, 33, of Sunderland. Subsequent
investigation led to Troumbley being charged with Leaving the Scene of an
Accident. Troumbley was cited to appear in Bennington County Superior Court,
Criminal Division, to answer to said charge.
