SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On December 27, 2019, at approximately 0725 hours, a 911 hang-up call was received from the Belmont General Store in the Town of Belmont. Upon call-back a female at the store advised there was a physical altercation between two males and a female.

 

Further investigation revealed that Donald H. Grenier and Margaret A. Grenier, of Mount Holly, physically assaulted Jon C. Didio inside the Belmont General on the morning of December 27, 2019, causing pain and injury. 

 

Donald and Margaret Grenier were later cited at the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on March 2, 2020 to answer to the offense of simple assault.
