SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 12/25/2019, at approximately 1611 hours, the Vermont State Police received a report of a family fight that took place at a residence in Weybridge, VT. Investigation revealed that one of the parties involved, Gary Norris, had operated a motor vehicle on a public highway. While speaking with Norris, several indicators of alcohol impairment were observed. Norris was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Middlebury Police Department for processing. Norris was released to ACT 1 on a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court on January 13, 2020, to answer the charge of Title 23 VSA 1201 "Operating under the influence of intoxicants or other substance."

 

The Vermont State Police was assisted on scene by the Middlebury Police Department and Middlebury Rescue services.
