SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 12/14/2019 at approximately 2010 hours Troopers responded to Main Street
in Plainfield near the Plainfield/Marshfield town line for a single vehicle
crash with injury.  The operator, Belinda Dejesus was transported to the Central
Vermont Medical Center for an evaluation, the passenger was transported as well.
 Troopers observed Dejesus had struck the end of a guardrail causing significant
damage to the front end of the vehicle.

Troopers interviewed Dejesus at the hospital and determined she was under the
influence of alcohol.  DMV records also indicated Dejesus had a criminally
suspended license.  Dejesus was taken into custody and brought to the Barre City
Police Department where she was processed for DUI.  Dejesus was ultimately
issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court- Criminal
Division to answer to the offenses of DUI #2 and DLS.
