SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On December 13, 2019 at 11:29 PM Troopers from the Middlesex Barracks were dispatched to a report of a two vehicle crash with injuries on US Rt 2 near Farr Rd in Waterbury, Vermont.  Upon arrival, Vehicle 1 was found sideways blocking the eastbound lane of US Rt 2 and Vehicle 2 was found off the shoulder of the westbound lane facing east.  Both vehicles sustained front end damage with heavy driver's side damage and are considered a total loss.  Both operators complained of injuries.  Escobar was transported to Central Vermont Hospital for further evaluation and treatment and Greiner was cleared my EMS on scene.  Upon investigation it was determined that Operator 1 was traveling westbound on US Rt 2 and crossed into the eastbound lane colliding head on with Vehicle 2.
