DUI Refusal-Resisting Arrest -12/27/19-Jericho

ACCUSED: Brian Haggerty-Perraul                         

AGE: 27

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Jeffersonville, VT

 

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On the above date and time Troopers from the Williston Barracks were conducting traffic enforcement on Gov Pek in the Town of Jericho. Troopers observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit (53 MPH in a 35MPH zone)and conducted a traffic stop. The operator was identified as Brian Haggerty-Perraul of Jeffersonville, VT. During the stop Troopers observed signs of impairment and asked Haggerty-Perraul to exit the vehicle to further investigate their suspicion of his impairment.  Haggerty-Perraul refused to comply with the Trooper’s orders to exit the vehicle. Troopers were forced to physically extract Haggerty-Perraul from the vehicle during which time Haggerty-Perraul resisted their efforts.

 

Haggerty-Perraul was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and Resisting arrest. Haggerty-Perraul was transported to the Williston State Police Barracks for Processing.

 

Haggerty-Perraul was released on a citation on appear in Chittenden County Superior Court on 1/16/20 to answer the charge DUI-Refusal and Resisting arrest.
