SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On the evening of 11-16-19, Troopers from the Shaftsbury barracks responded to a report of a car versus deer crash on Vermont Route 30 in the town of Dorset, VT. Troopers made contact with the operator who was identified as Crosier (25). Crosier advised he was traveling northbound at 35 miles per hour when he came upon a deer in the travel portion of the roadway and was unable to avoid striking it. Crosier was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was uninjured. Members from the Dorset Fire Department assisted at the scene.
