SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On November 13, 2019 at approximately 1610 hours, Troopers from the Middlesex barracks conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of High St. and Stowe St. in the Town of Waterbury.  Troopers recognized the operator, identified as Matthew Hayes (DOB: 09/21/1999), as having a suspended license.  Further investigation confirmed that Hayes operated a motor vehicle on a public highway with a criminally suspended license. 

 

Troopers arrested Hayes and transported him to the Middlesex State Police barracks for processing. He was later released upon citation to appear before the Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division on January 2, 2020 at 0830 hours to answer to the above charge.
