SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 11/15/2019, at approximately 2030 hours, Troopers with the Vermont State

Police St. Johnsbury Barracks were dispatched to a two vehicle crash with

injuries near 1790 Oneida Road, Danville, VT. Vann stated he was travelling at

approximately 20 mph when vehicle #1 lost traction and the vehicle 1 left the

roadway. Shortly after Vehicle #2 came down the same hill and similarly lost

traction. Vehicle #2 side swiped vehicle #1 before leaving the roadway. After

investigation, the operator of Vehicle #2, Michael McDermott was taken into

custody for suspicion of DUI. McDermott's passenger was taken to Northeastern

Vermont Regional Hospital for treatment of a minor arm injury.
