SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On the morning of 11/04/2019, Vermont State Police were notified of a dog which

had been shot during the afternoon of 11/03/2019. Investigation revealed a 1

year old black lab which had gotten loose from a neighboring residence was shot

by Keenan in the facial area. The dog was later found in a wooded area hours

later by the owner (Buxton) and rushed to Littleton Area Veterinary Emergency

Service, where the dog later died from injuries sustained. Keenan was issued a

citation to appear in Caledonia Criminal Court to answer to the charge of

Aggravated Animal Cruelty on 12/16/2019 at 0830 hours.
