CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Fairlee, VT

 

ACCUSED: Rose Thompson                                                 

AGE:53

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Topsham, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 12th 2019 at approximately 0835 hours Rose

Thompson and Richard Olmstead came to the Bradford VT State Police Outpost to

file a report. Troopers responded and were advised the truck they had, did not

belong to them. Troopers found that the vehicle had been reported stolen from

Lebanon NH on August 8th 2019. Thompson and Olmstead refused to speak further

about the incident. Olmstead was found to be in violation of his conditions of

release. Olmstead and Thompson were taken into custody. Thompson was released

with a citation for Possession of Stolen Property and Olmstead was later

released on conditions with a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court

on 8/14/19. The VT State Police and Lebonon NH Police are continuing to

investigate this incident and anyone with information is asked to call Tpr.
