SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On above date and time, VSP Derby was advised of a two vehicle crash that occurred on US RT 5 near the intersection of Kinsey Road in Barton, VT.  Upon arrival, Operator #2, Roger Pray, was immediately transported to North Country Hospital for treatment to his minor injuries.  Operator #1, Ed Seadale, exhibited signs of intoxication and was ultimately arrested and processed for DUI.  He was released on a citation to appear in Orleans District Court on 2/26/19.   

 

Seadale was traveling southbound and Pray was traveling northbound.  Evidence at the scene indicated Seadale operated his vehicle left of the centerline and collided with Pray in the oncoming lane.  Neither vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.  Wright’s Towing removed both vehicles.  Barton/Orleans FD as well as Orleans EMS assisted at the scene.
