SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On January 10th, 2019, at approximately 2253 hours, Troopers at the Vermont State Police – Shaftsbury Barracks responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Dorset Hill Road near Morse Hill Road in the Town of East Dorset, Vermont.

 

Initial investigation revealed that vehicle #1 was traveling northbound on Dorset Hill Road near Morse Hill Road in East Dorset when the operator left their lane of travel, lost control of the vehicle and drove off the roadway.  The vehicle entered the ditch of the southbound lane of travel on Dorset Hill Road, flipped over onto the passenger’s side, and collided with a tree.  Vehicle #1 sustained heavy driver’s side, windshield, and front end damage in addition to minor passenger side and undercarriage damage..  Operator #1 was wearing his seatbelt.

 

The Vermont State Police were assisted by the Dorset Fire Department and Manchester Rescue.

 

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Paul’s Towing due to disabling damage.
