Williston Barracks // Motorcycle Crash

DAMAGE TO VEHICLE #1: damage throughout

INJURIES: Non-incapicating

HOSPITAL: Copley Hospital

 

SUMMARY OF CRASH: On the above date and time, VSP Troopers along with Cambridge Fire and Rescue responded to the above location to investigate a single vehicle, motorcycle crash. It was reported that the motorcycle involved had lost control and gone off the road.

 

Investigation revealed that vehicle #1 was traveling WB on Route 15 in the vicinity of residence # 3272, traveling behind her husband who was riding his own motorcycle. After negotiation a sweeping right curve at that location motorcycle #1 crossed the oncoming lane and went off the south side of the road, down and embankment and came to rest adjacent to a corn field. After leaving the road, Operator #1 was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained non-life threatening injuries. She was transported from the scene by Cambridge Rescue and taken to Copley Hospital for evaluation/ treatment.

 

This crash remains under investigation. Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.
