SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On the above date and time the Vermont State Police responded to Newark St. near in the intersection of Schoolhouse Rd. in the Town of Newark for a reported single vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. Investigation revealed that David Parisi, 17 of Fairfax, VT, was driving south bound when he struck Charlotte Nolan, 19 of North Attleborough, MA. Nolan was reportedly also walking south in the south bound lane; Parisi told Troopers he met another vehicle just prior to the crash and never saw Nolan. Speed and alcohol were not factors in this crash. There is no evidence to suggest Parisi was operating in a negligent manner. Nolan was transported to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition.
