INCIDENT LOCATION: 3975 VT RT 7a, Arlington

VIOLATION: Simple Assault, Unlawful Trespass of Occupied Dwelling, DUI

 

ACCUSED: Kainen Mattison

VICTIM: Adam Olin

AGE: 31

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Arlington, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 08/12/18 at approximately 0136 hours Vermont State

Police were dispatched to 3975 VT RT 7a, Arlington, for a citizen dispute. It

was reported Kainen Mattison had entered the residence of Adam Olin, and began

attacking Olin as Olin slept. A physical fight ensued between Olin and Mattison,

afterwhich Mattison left the scene in a vehicle.

 

The vehicle was later located, parked partially in the roadway of VT RT 7a,

Arlington. Mattison was then located walking along VT RT 7a, where he was placed

into custody. Mattison was later issued Conditions of Release by Court Clerk

Laurie Canty. Those conditions stipulate that Mattison appear in Bennington

County Superior Court, Criminal Division, to answer to the charges of DUI,

Simple Assault, and Unlawful Trespass of Occupied Dwelling.
