SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 08/11/2018 at approximately 1904 hours, Vermont State Police received a report of a motor vehicle that traveled off the road and back into the breakdown lane at mile marker 34 on I-89 southbound in the Town of Randolph, VT (Orange County).  The vehicle sustained front end damage and was not operable.  Troopers responded to the scene and located the vehicle, however there was no one with it.  Later in the evening, State Police received a report of a naked male subject walking on the interstate near mile marker 35 northbound on I-89 in the Town of Randolph.  Troopers responded and located Brandon Williams. Investigation revealed that Williams was the owner and operator of the vehicle previously located.  Williams was taken into custody for DUI, transported to Randolph Police Department for processing, and released on a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Orange Criminal Division on 08/29/18 at 0800 hours to answer to the charge of DUI Refusal.
