CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Killington, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 03, 2018, at approximately 2307 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash, on Route 4, in the Town of Killington.  Through investigation Troopers learned the operator, identified as Karen Rhee (28), of Killington Vermont, was traveling west on U.S Route 4 when she left the roadway, causing her vehicle to roll onto its roof.   Rhee was able to exit the vehicle on her own and was not injured in the crash.  During the crash investigating Rhee displayed several indicators of impairment.  She was ultimately taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland for processing.  After processing Rhee was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court - Criminal Division and released to a sober party.
