SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 12, 2018, Troopers from the Vermont State Police, Rutland Barracks conducted a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street in Rutland City for a motor vehicle infraction. Troopers identified the operator as, Christopher Adam Wight (26).  Investigation revealed Wright’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Vermont was under suspension criminally.  Troopers obtained consent to search the vehicle and as a result of the search Troopers located ten Oxycodone pills inside the vehicle.

 

Wright was taken into custody and transported to the State Police Barracks in Rutland for processing.  Wright was released on a citation to appear at the Rutland Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date and time.
