SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 11, 2018, at approximately 2339 hours, Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pear Street in the Town of Essex for a violation of defective equipment. The operator was identified as Kelsey Hatcher, 27, of Essex Junction. Hatcher’s license was confirmed to be criminally suspended.  Hatcher was taken into custody and transported to the Williston State Police Barracks. Hatcher was issued a citation for Operating Under Suspension, a violation of Title 23 VSA Section 674. Hatcher is ordered to appear in the Chittenden County Superior Court, Criminal Division on August 7, 2018 at 0815 hours.
