SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On July 1, 2018 at 1626 hours State Troopers from the Westminster Barracks were dispatched to a single vehicle crash with injuries on VT Route 30, just north of Copeland Road, in Jamaica, VT.  Upon arrival the vehicle involved in the crash was located on its roof blocking the northbound lane of VT Route 30.  Investigation into the crash determined that several deer ran into the roadway causing Op # 1 to swerve in order to avoid the deer as well as another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.  Vehicle #1 crossed the center line and exited the east side of the road, where it then rolled onto its roof back onto the roadway.

Op #1 sustained a minor laceration to her right hand and was treated and released from Grace Cottage Hospital.

It was also determined that Op #1 had been operating with a suspended license out of the state of Florida.  Op #1 was issued a ticket for No License in violation of Title 23 section 601 and assessed a $162 fine.
