SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 07/10/18 at approximately 1824 hours Vermont State Police

were dispatched to a single vehicle crash in the area of 5338 Main Road,

Stamford.

 

Upon arrival, the responding Trooper began investigating the crash and learned

Lisa Dix had been operating the vehicle at the time. Dix was distracted by a

spilled drink, which subsequently led to her losing control of the vehicle and

going off the roadway.

 

Dix and her passenger were transported to the Berkshire Medical Center for

medical evaluation. The passenger was reported to have an injury to his hand.

The vehicle was removed from the scene by Heartwellville Towing.

 

Stamford Fire Department responded to and assisted at the scene with traffic

control and scene safety.

 

Investigation is considered still active.
