VIOLATION: Violation of Conditions of Release

 

ACCUSED:   Ryan Johnson                                                         

AGE: 42

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: South Burlington, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:   On June 8, 2018, at approximately 0002 hours, Vermont State Police received a report from Sandri’s Gas Station employee of a person stealing alcohol from the store. The employee reported that the suspected person was sitting in a truck, in the gas station parking lot. Vermont State Police made contact with the individual, who was identified as Ryan Johnson, 42, of South Burlington. Johnson had active conditions of release to not buy, have, or drink any alcoholic beverages.  Johnson had an open 12 pack of alcoholic beverages in the back seat and one empty can.  Investigation determined that Johnson had consumed alcohol.   Johnson was taken into custody by the Vermont State Police for Violating Conditions of Release. Johnson was brought back to the Williston State Police Barracks for processing and issued a citation to appear in the Chittenden County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on June 28, 2018 at 0830 hours. Johnson was trespassed from Sandri’s Gas Station. Johnson was released to a sober party.
